Do I Have Slow Metabolism?

How fast is my metabolism?  And, is that why I can’t lose weight?  Indirect calorimetry is the gold standard technique for determining resting energy requirements.  If we know how many calories we burn on a daily basis, we can then decide a caloric target for ourselves.  And, if our calorie consumption is 500-600 calories less than what we burn, then it is inevitable that we will lose weight.
