Shahzad Ahmad, MD, FACE, ECNU
Dr. Ahmad is a board-certified endocrinologist, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, a member of the American Thyroid Association and American Board of Internal Medicine, and ECNU-certified. ECNU is a professional certification for endocrinologists who perform diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration for thyroid and parathyroid disorders. Dr. Ahmad completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Englewood, New Jersey and then went on to an Endocrinology fellowship at UCLA. His special focus is on the diagnosis and medical treatment of thyroid dysfunction, nodules, and cancer. He also was an assistant professor at the University of San Francisco School of Medicine.

Jules Aljammal, MD, ECNU

Dr. Jules Aljammal is a board-certified endocrinologist who completed his Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is certified by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists to perform neck ultrasounds (ECNU) and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirations (UG-FNA) of thyroid nodules, and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Aljammal’s area of expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of thyroid and parathyroid diseases, including thyroid nodules and cancer, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and hyperparathyroidism. He is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. Jules Aljammal has achieved ECNU certification, the third only certified endocrinologist in UTAH!

Konstantinos Segkos, MD

Dr. Segkos trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and then completed an Endocrinology fellowship at Ohio State University. Dr. Segkos is a member of the American Thyroid Association, American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the Endocrine Society.

Although a fully-trained endocrinology expert in all hormonal disorders, Dr. Segkos has a special interest in thyroid dysfunction, thyroid nodules and cancer, and parathyroid disorders.

Sharla Morgan, APRN FNP-C
Sharla received a Master's Degree in Nursing at Brigham Young University and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Due to her own struggle with thyroid cancer, Sharla relates well to patients' concerns and can provide personal experience regarding the medical treatment associated with thyroid disorders.
